| Well my serissas not doing well at all. It's been on a downward spiral since about 2-3 weeks after I bought it. It's leaves have become brittle and fragile falling off at the touch (mainly towards the top). Many of the leaves that remain have become lighter colored at their tips. The leaves near the base still seem healthy. No doubt temperature has negatively affected this poor tree as it went from its greenhouse to my room which for some time was 50 and below. I water every other day after sundown and leave it in partial sun. Any ideas on what I did wrong? over watering? under-watering? it seems like it might still be growing. |

Hello Percy.
From what I've discovered during my short time as a member here, Serissa are very difficult to keep well.
They have very specific needs.
Someone with more knowledge than I have will be along to help you, I'm sure. Good luck.
Penny. |

Hi Percy,
As Penny indicated, serissa is very hard to grow. They require a lot of watering and very good light conditions such as in a greenhouse. Check the A-Z forum under serissa and you'll see maore specific details about how to grow them. It's doesn't make them easier to grwo, but it give you a fighting chance at keeping them fo a time. |
