I have a Pistacia vera (pistachio nut) and recently I've noticed the leaves have been turning red. Is this a problem? Or is it nothing to worry about

I thought that they were evergreen shrubs but not all may be. If you have a deciduous one it may be autumn colouration starting. If its P. terebinthus it should sport shiny red fruit in the autumn. I wouldn't think that its anything to worry about unless the red bits are like blisters. It sounds pretty.

Thanks for your help. It does actually look quite nice but appearances can be deceptive lol. All the new growths coming up are red so id assume its nothing to worry about. Ive only got 3 bonsai to look after an I'm new to it so its SO frustrating and confusing.
