What would others buy for their £25 / $50 from WS Bonsai?

Just placed my first order with WS Bonsai
Ordered some basic essentials which I thought I should have. Was considering using it all on just 1 Japanese tool but decided I needed these more.
1x 190mm Root Cutters
1x Stainless Steel Sieve Set 300mm
In the end I paid just £2.48 which is great

Chinese bonsai tools are less expensive for beginners.

| You are certainly right Dick. I think I have every tool I need now, all of them are Chinese and they work great. My plan is to gradually get stainless Japanese tools one at a time when these Chinese tools wear out.

Stainless Japanese tools are like surgical instruments and you certainly get what you pay for. I bought come concave branch cutters 6 years ago. They cost me £75 / $150 but are still like new after many years of use.
Keep your tools clean and they will last you. Abuse your tools like cutting wire (tempting - get some cheap wire cutters) and you'll be wasting your money on good stuff.
Has your order arrived?
