no new growth

well i have a juniper procumbens and i have prunned some needles back a bit. but i had noticed that it has been maybe 2 weeks and havnt had any new growth
whats the problem?

Depending on how hard it was pruned it may be in shock. Two weeks really isn't all that long, give it a vitamin b solution such as Superthrive and keep it out of direct sun for a while. It will bounce back fine.

Once, I severely pruned a juniper to get the overall design correct as quickly as possible. It took two years for the new growth to fill in as I had intended.

Patience is the ultimate virtue in bonsai.

Doesn't it also depend on the temperature? Really high temperatures would normally put a juniper to sleep and no new growth would come from it.

To most this need not apply since I think I am the only one experiencing 90+ Farenheit weather as it is.
