It looks like a Larch Wakey. That should be outside, not in a greenhouse. Keep the compost just moist, not over wet. You don't tell us whereabouts you are. That might be helpful. When I say outside, I mean all the time and all year round. Don't disturb its roots while it is in foliage. Although it has needles, it is not evergreen and will drop its needles in the Autumn. This is quite normal and any repotting should be carried out in early spring before any buds open.
Larch is a small family of around three and the colour of the bark is a clue to which member it is. They all need the same treatment so its not a problem. Try to let us know if the planting medium is open and free draining, which it should be. Okay>? |

Thank you Stymie, Ive learned so much already =)
I'm 18 and new to all this, tho i have started work at a nursery
It is in a regular pot with drainage holes
the best as i can tell the bark is, light brown with strips of dark (almost black) brown going vertically.
I'll put it back outside tomorro |

I mean free draining compost mix with at least a third of coarse grit.
Get it outside NOW . From your bark description it may be Larix kaempferi (L. leptolepis) commonly called Japanese larch. Look at the colour of the new twigs. If they are almost orange/brown then we've cracked it. Keep in touch. = Stymie. |
