OK
Ive been to my local Garden centre and they actually stock a few bonsai
They have the following :-
Chinese Rose £82 about 15" high, very big
Chinese Elm £77 about 13" high, looks abit tatty
Banyan Fig £59 again about 13" looks ok
Pepper Tree £47 looked abit tatty
So what im asking is, which is probably the best to buy??
thanks in advance |

| You want it for keeping indoors don't you. I'd go for the fig, the easiest in the list and we know quite a bit about them. |

| I also vote for the fig for indoor cultivation. It's a fast grower and will be fairly easy for care. |

Hello.
Interested to see which one you choose.
The fig trees in Tesco the other day were small but a much more affordable price for me. I wasn't able to get one that day, but will see whether they are still there the next time I go. They obviously weren't trained as bonsai but would be starter material.
Good luck with yours.
