My large, recently-bought 10 year old serissa has started gettin black dots on the bottom of lots of the leaves.
Does anyone know why? And how to get rid of them?

Thanks

Are they moving, even very slowly? If yes, then you have some sort of critter, perpahs aphids with can be eradicated with a spraying of soapy water.

If they are not, then you might have a fungus such as botrytis or even mildew caused by the moisture that your tree needs. You can remove the offending leaves or treat it with a fungicide.
