Can anyone help on when to repot and do maintainance pruning
on the following:-
Chinese fringe flower (loropetalum chinense)
Malayan apple tree (eugenia)
Coppershine (coprosma)
Stone Pine (pinus pinea)
I have various books on bonsai, but cannot find any info anywhere.
I live in the east of England. |

Hello Ursula.
In our hemisphere, re-potting is best carried out in early spring for most varieties. The medium should be free draining for all potted plants. The Pine in your collection needs an even more open mixture containing 40% of coarse grit. Welcome to the site. |
