Air Layering Satsuki Azalea

Hello everyone

I have a couple of questions

1.Are satsuki suitable for air-layering

2.has anyone got advise on the best time to start the air-layering process on my Satsuki Azalea (early/mid summer ?)

any help would be appreciated

Early summer is reputed to be the right time for air-layering or cuttings. I think that Dick will have some good advice to add here........
