Hi it looks like two of the five cuttings are going to be OK, but when will I know that they are ready to re-pot. They have been in for about 2 weeks now and I so want them to survive so please help me. The trees are Chinese Elm ................ Crying or Very sad

I should have thought the longer you leave them as cuttings and keep them alive to grow stronger, the better they will grow as bonsai. I've got juniper cuttings I made 2 years ago - they're still cuttings, and still alive. I just keep watering tem. SJ.

I guess that depends on the size of the pot they are in. I would leave then in at the minimum of 2-3 months, or once they start pushing lots of growth and you know they have rooted well.
