I built mine. I wanted some thing that I could mount on the side of my bench not taking up the whole bench.

Hi

The turntables that are supplied for rotating a TV are suitable, and can be found in wall mart.

Another good source is to use the mechanics of an old swivel chair and cut a round MDF turntable to fit where the seat was.

Hi, why not try a lazy Susan thats what i use. In case you don't know they are used as a centrepiece at dinner to hold the condiments.

Inexpensive turntables are sold for cake decorators too. They're okay for anything up to 8 kilos/

That is where I got mine, will hold 500lbs and is only $7. All you have to do is cut a piece of wood for the top and screw it on.

Thaose are the same mechanisms that are used for "Lazy Susan" that are sold in kitchen ware stores and websites. In fact, my first turntable was a "Lazy Susan." I still have it and use it occasionally.
