I'm thinking of getting a weeping birch "Bentula pendula Youngii" but is it two late in the season to do a trunk chop?
Thanks |

| No it's not if you do it within the next week or so. |

Thanks Dick. i will go get it today and post some pictures when I have done the trunk chop. The tree has a 1.5 inch truck at the moment which I think is large enough so I will just have to start work on creating a taper.
edit: I have purchased the birch now and have posted a picture in the 'Techniques' section of the forum. |
