well i have a juniper procumbens and i have prunned some needles back a bit. but i had noticed that it has been maybe 2 weeks and havnt had any new growth
whats the problem? |

| Depending on how hard it was pruned it may be in shock. Two weeks really isn't all that long, give it a vitamin b solution such as Superthrive and keep it out of direct sun for a while. It will bounce back fine. |

Once, I severely pruned a juniper to get the overall design correct as quickly as possible. It took two years for the new growth to fill in as I had intended.

Doesn't it also depend on the temperature? Really high temperatures would normally put a juniper to sleep and no new growth would come from it.
To most this need not apply since I think I am the only one experiencing 90+ Farenheit weather as it is. |
