Hi Lewis, welcome to bonsai help!
We will need a bit more information. What species is it, where it is located(indoors/outdoors), how much sunlight does it receive, what sort of soil is it planted in and finally how often do you water it. |

right,
I'm not to sure of the species i had it as a Christmas present, it got small egg shaped green leaves, well were green, it looks a little like an elm but the leaves are very smooth and not jagged, its been winter so its been in side on a window sill but when it isn't raining i take it out, i think i may have over watered it because up until about three weeks a go it still had green leaves.
i got some bonsai soil from b&Q and water it about once every two to three days but spray it daily, i watered it today because i hadn't done it for about 4 days in case I'm over watering it
do i take all the leaves off? |

I would say the problem is either one of 2 problems:
1) Incorrect watering
2) Keeping an outdoor tree indoors
These are only speculative, we really need to know what species it is before we can identify the problem and get it on the road to recovery.
It would help greatly if you could post 3 photos of your tree: one of the whole tree, one of the bark and a close up of a typical leaf. If you can photograph them against a plain background it will be much easier for us to see. Unfortunately you can't post directly to this forum you will need to put it on a free host site such aswww.photobucket.com then put the url on here |
