Two of the most picturesque wild places in Brevard, Florida are Brevard Zoo and the stunning Enchanted Forest Sanctuary, and this month they are going wild for natural art; both live and on canvas. On the 16th and 17th, the Bonsai Society of Brevard is returning for the 7th year to Brevard Zoo in order to exhibit their outstanding pieces of living art known as the bonsai tree.
Joining in with the fun for the first time is the Enchanted Forest Sanctuary who, on the 16th, are embarking on its first ever Art in the Forest event. Barbara Hoelscher is the outreach coordinator for the even and she has said that instead of holding an ordinary art show within a gallery they were holding the exhibition in the Enchanted Forest.
This free event, which is being sponsored by Friends of the Enchanted Forest, takes place between 10am-3pm and offers guests a unique opportunity to witness artists at work as well as enjoy musical entertainment while they enjoy a say out at the sanctuary which covers 492 acres.
